I'm Blythe Potter!
I cannot wait to meet you! I am a small town Indiana native, momma to a sweet toddler, Violet, Army veteran, esthetician, Aspire Johnson County Ambassador (inactive until 11/6/24), and bodyworker with big dreams to change the way you care for YOU! I am in the Center Grove Ambassador program and the Emerging Leaders Project and I am very excited for both of these to start! I am also running for Johnson County Council at Large!

I am passionate about democracy, over-using exclamation points, animal advocacy and rescue; I like to think of myself as Snow White, but my husband would say I am more like Ace Ventura! Working towards sustainable, net positive living and improving the way we interact with our world is important in my life.
I also ran for Bargersville Town Council in 2023! While I did not win, there was an 18% voter turnout (more than the Johnson County average of 11%) and a 100% increase in democratic voter turnout! I am a member of Associated Skin Care Professionals, American Massage Therapy Association, Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals, and the Society of Ortho-Bionomy International®. I am a registered yoga teacher (RYT 500) with Yoga Alliance and a certified therapeutic massage and bodyworker (BCTMB); a nationally recognized board certification for massage therapists. I am also a proud member of the 2022 Leadership Johnson County graduating class and class liaison, and 100+ Women Who Care in Johnson County. Yes, it's a lot, but we think it is important to stay involved in our industry associations, education, and community!!

My geologist husband and I enjoy time with our baby girl, two rescued cats, and one senior rescued dog (any other pittie parents out there?). We have fostered more than 100 dogs in our home, ran 10 marathons in the first three years of meeting one another, and love true crime podcasts and the occasional Netflix binge watching session! I very much enjoy time with my family, traveling safely when we can, the outdoors, learning, and indulging in dairy-free ice cream (any other vegans reading this?)!

My Mission
I love my career! During more than 25 years of full-time industry experience, I have completed over 30,000 skin and body services, and 2,500 hours of continuing education. I am a master esthetician, certified aromatherapist, a graduate of the International Dermal Institute (IDI) postgraduate program, and an MBA graduate from Siena Heights University!
